The Covenant with God by Sacrifice

A Covenant with God by Sacrifice

God's Final Call and Warning, Inc. is one of God's instruments to accomplish in this the end of the world the fulfillment of Ps 50:5, which commands "Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."  Would to God that God's people would understand and fulfill this scripture.  If there ever was a time when professed children of God ought to sacrifice for the kingdom of heaven's sake it is now in this the end of the world.  Everyone of God's chosen elect ought to make a covenant with God by sacrificing all for the kingdom of heaven's sake.  It will soon and very soon be too late.

The following scriptures not only depict the lifestyle of those who are of this world, but unfortunately it depicts the overwhelming majority of those who profess to be Christians-people who declare that they love the Lord and are looking and waiting for His second coming.  In Luke 17:26-30 we read "And as it was in the days of Noe so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man.  They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed."  In this the very end of the world, when God's people ought to be making a covenant with God by sacrificing all for the finishing of the great commission, professed Christians have scores of other priorities.  Most professed Christians do not even give 5 or 10% of their increase to the cause of God, much less all!

Beloved the word of God plainly states in Matt 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."  Beloved, check yourself.  What do I spend all or most of my treasure on?  What absorbs all or most of my time, talents, efforts and money?    Is it finishing God's work in the earth, or is it all or mostly spent on yourself or your car, house, family or other concerns.  Where ever your treasure is that is where your heart is and thus that is your God, for that is what you are devoted to.  My life and how I use my resources attest to it.  Millions are self-deceived on this point, because what they profess and the way they live are two different things.  The Bible declares that if my profession is not in harmony with the way I live and the way I use my treasure then my profession is a lie.  What one habitually lives proves what they are and what they truly believe, not mere talk or profession.

In Matt 24:4-14 the living word enumerated the signs of His second coming.  Christ foretold the coming of many saying, "I am Christ," and that they would deceive many.  He spoke of the increase of wars, nations hating nations, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, false prophets, many deceiving many, iniquity abounding, and of the inhumanity of humanity against humanity -- no love!  He ends, however, by declaring that "this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations and then shall the end come."

Beloved do we not have a serious and solemn responsibility as Christians.  We need to experience the burden of God's call to labor for lost souls personally.  We have mistakenly depended on so-called ministers to do God's work for far too long.  As if we are not disciples with an anointing and constrained by the call of God.  Too many of us have looked upon the actual fulfillment of the sign of the times for so long, that instead of becoming alert, alarmed and the more vigilant to labor for a lost world, we have settled down and become anesthetized.  We have fallen asleep, become indifferent and are but sluggards in the cause of the one we say we love.  It is a crime against the whole world for professed Christians to do so little to save the lost.

These next statement will only appeal to the genuinely born again chosen ones.  Only the elect disciples who are aware that this world is about to end can accept the following.  In James 5:3 the inspired word say "your gold and silver is cankered, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.  Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days."  It would be to our eternal lost, if in God's judgment of us personally it is found that we spent all or most of our treasure on that which is but fuel for the fires of final destruction.  It would be sad for us to have to hear God tell us how we selfishly used our treasure to witness against us in the judgment.

Beloved, this world is not our home.  We are in the world and called of God for one purpose.  That is to share with all the world what God has shared with us.  In Matt 19:16-22 we find an account of a man who professed to keep all God's commandments, yet his earthly possessions and money were more important to him than God, and, His will and work.  When the man had to choose between the two he chose to hold onto his money and possessions.  "Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell all that thou hast and give to the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me."  This is the word to us today.  This is the covenant with God by sacrifice that we who are in the end of the world must embrace.  When it comes to your treasure, that is, how you use your treasure, how you use your time, talents, efforts, and money to accomplish God's will and work remember II Cor 9:6 which declares "He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."  As soldiers of the cross it is our goal to bountifully store up treasure in heaven, after all that is our eternal home.  We are only passing through this world as God's ambassadors, faithful to use every means to bring the kingdom of God to this earth.  When will God's people, personally and individually make themselves a committee of one to accomplish this vision.

Remember the words of your Master in Luke 14:33 where Christ clearly states "whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple."  There is no sacrifice or self denial that is too great for the elect to make for the kingdom of heaven's sake.  We follow closely in the footsteps or lifestyle of our Saviour.  Christ has set the ultimate example of self sacrifice and self denial in giving up all the accumulated riches of heaven and the possessions from times eternal.  He came to this dark earth and lived as a poor man who lived to serve others and to finally give His life that others may have eternal life.  Does he expect any less from those who are called by His name and follow in His lifestyle?  I tell you, NO!  The gospel according to John chapter 15 verse 13 quotes God in the flesh, which was love in the flesh as declaring "greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends."  Then we find the record written by the disciple of Christ in 1 John 3:16 which declares "Hereby perceive we the love of God because he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."  Beloved we laid down our life for the brethren, while we yet live by sacrificing all that we are, and all that we have in order to reach and save souls from eternal death.  If on this laying your life down for your brethren while you yet live, it becomes necessary, you are ready and willing to give your blood and your life for the saving of souls.  This is the love of God.  This is the character and caliber of love expressed through self denial and self sacrifice that all God's chosen elect will live.
