Introduction

The Bible teaches us that "through many tribulations we will enter the kingdom of God".  Acts 14:22.  If there ever was a time when this text is beginning to be fulfilled, it is now.   We live in an age of gross apostasy and ever increasing compromise in the worldwide Christian community. We live in an age where professed Christians are indistinguishable from those who are of the world.

Why is this?  It is not because the truth has lessened in its requirement and purity.  Nor is it because the world has been converted to the truth.  There is but one reason for the present harmony and friendship of the professed Christian churches with the world.  It is because the churches or professed churches have joined the world, and Satan has little enmity for, or problem with, the modern churches in the world today.  The unfortunate truth is that many, if not most, of the professed churches in Protestantism are but the seat of Satan, which is the synagogue of Satan filled with those who say they are apostles but who are liars.  This condition is revealed to us by the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending who walks up and down in the midst of His churches.  Rev. 2:2, 9, 13.   As the last hour generations upon the earth we need to become keenly aware of the fact that there are but two classes of people dwelling upon the earth.  The word classifies them as the sheep or goats, the wheat or tares, the saved or the lost, the children of God or the children of the Devil.  There is no such thing as almost saved.  One is either lost or saved; they are either God's or Satan's.   The churches of Christianity all over the earth are in dire need of a wake-up call.  They need the midnight loud cry -  "Behold the Bridegroom cometh" Matt 25:6.  It is past the time for all genuine disciples to live and work for but one reason.  Love for their Creator and Saviour who sacrificed all for them must motivate and empower them to sacrifice all for Him and the Kingdom of heaven.  We individually and personally must devote all we are and all we have for the fulfillment of the great commission given to us by our Lord just moments before He ascended.  We must make ourselves a committee of one to, "go and teach all nations all things" commanded by our Lord. Matt 28:18-20.  We must fulfill this last call and warning to every nation, kindred, tongue and people, (Rev 14: 6,7) in person, by the printed page,  by web page, by TV and radio, by cassette tapes, by CD, and by financial support sacrificing all for the kingdom of heaven's sake.  We who are the end of the world disciples must fulfill Christ's great commission.   The great commission must be our personal MISSION!!!
