The Spirit of the United Disciples
In Luke 8:1-3 it speaks of Jesus ministering throughout every city and village preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. The Word declares that His disciples were with Him and "many others which ministered unto him of their substance". It is very clear from scripture that although many gave to the ministry of Jesus, He set the example of using the means and gifts for the saving of souls, and not for enriching Himself as professed Ministers do now-a-days. He never promoted the erection of expensive places of worship, He never purchased costly earthly and material possessions, or enormous wardrobes for himself and His disciples. This is the example and pattern that God's Final Call and Warning follows. Our interest is not huge salaries for our workers. It is not the erection of multi-million dollar churches. It is not for fabulous attire, and expensive unnumbered possessions. Our focus is souls. We produce and publish literature. We record and mass distribute cassette tapes and CDs containing the pure everlasting gospel. We support an ever increasing web site read internationally daily. We are in the process of establishing radio ministries, and are hopeful of a soon coming television and cable ministry. We travel nationally and internationally conducting evangelistic crusades for the saving of souls.
Our testimony is the exact same as that of the apostle Paul in Acts 20:33-35 where it is declared, "I have coveted no man's silver or gold, or apparel." We do as Paul did at God's Final Call and Warning, we use our own hands to minister to our necessities, and we labor to support the weak remembering the words of the Lord Jesus which declare, "it is more blessed to give than to receive". We here at God's Final Call and Warning, personally live self denial and self-sacrifice for the kingdom of heaven's sake.
Our goal in the world and especially among the genuine in the Christian community, is to work to re-establish the blessed condition among God's elect found in Acts chapters 2 and 4. The inspired Word says concerning God's people, "they were all with one accord" and "they were all filled with the Holy Ghost". They were all witnesses of this Jesus whom God had raised up from the dead. For all "had all things common and sold their possessions and goods and parted them to all men as every man had need". They had "singleness of heart" and "the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." They were of "one heart and one soul, neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own but they had all things common".
This state of unity must be recreated among God's last hour church in order for God to accomplish through His body - the church, the completion of the mystery of God's everlasting gospel. Nothing short of absolute repentance and rebirth, full self-sacrifice and self denial is commanded of and required of God's professed people. We must live the example and pattern that the Master set for us. We must forsake the world and the things of this world, and live only to fulfill the bringing of the kingdom of God to this earth!! Vow to God to become by His grace of "one heart and one soul" with God's Final Call and Warning. "Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf." II Cor 1:11. God's children-His true church in the earth is God's physical body in and among mankind. We are God's hands and feet. We are God's mouth, tongue, and voice to the born again and to the lost. We are the light of God's character casting down the Kingdom of darkness. WE ARE ONE!!
